Description:

The Wayfarer has a 1.3-metre hose that you can use to pump water up and through the filter. Purified water then comes through the discharge hose, directly into your own water bottle: Just pump, fill and drink!

The ultimate lightweight water filter for your outdoor/bushcraft trip thanks to its ideal ratio of weight, performance and longevity! This water filtration system includes a small water filter with two different filter cartridges, matching hoses and a handy storage pouch.

The filter consists of a plastic housing with built-in pump, in which two separate filter cartridges are installed. The hollowfibre filter with a filter size of 0.015 microns is the main filter, it removes organic particles, sediment, algae, bacteria, protozoa and viruses. The activated carbon filter reduces heavy metals, chemicals, odour and taste. The water is drawn from the water source via the "in" hose, using the hand pump, and via the "out" hose it ends up in your drinking bottle, jerry can or hydration bag.

The filter cartridges are replaceable, even though at 5000L they last a tremendously long time! The activated carbon discs are also available separately and have a lifespan of 100L, incidentally, these are not essential for using the filter.

This filter is the most suitable water filter to take with you on any type of outdoor activity where weight is a factor, it is hugely light and compact and still offers great filtering results. Thanks to the included hoses, you can pump water directly from a lake/river/pond or ditch. Care tips

Once you have started using the filter, it is important to keep it wet/filled. After use, always store it with water in it, by shaking it. Always replace the carbon disc after some time without use to prevent blockage by drying out. The filter also works without the carbon disc. Keep the silicon ring for installing the carbon disc when replacing it, do not throw it away.
