Bushmen Vagabound Hammock Set

Complete hammock set for the lightweight bushcrafter! The set includes an ultralight hammock, treehugger suspension system, removable mosquito net and an adjustable ridgeline. For overnight use in combination with a tarp, top quilt and underquilt.

Very light, sturdy and compact

With a total weight of only 500g, this set is tremendously light! This is mainly due to the 15D micro-ripstop nylon material used, thanks to the ripstop weave pattern the fabric retains its strength despite the relatively thin material. The hammock has a maximum load capacity of 130 kg. When you pack it in the storage bag, you are left with a package of just 24x8 cm, about the size of a half-litre bottle of water. With its good ratio of weight, strength and size, this hammock set is the perfect choice for bushcraft, survival, bikepacking, canoeing, hiking and motorpacking.

Intuitive mosquito net

The mosquito net is very fine-meshed, offering full protection from even the smallest insects and mosquitoes. The supplied ridgeline is stretched between the suspension loops of the hammock, from which the mosquito net hangs with two clickers. As can be seen in the video, the net can be rolled back for an open lying experience, while lying down the net can be tightened using the cord. This way you don't have to get up as soon as you decide to sleep. At the bottom, the net is secured with a buckle.

Treehugger suspension system

Two sturdy straps, each 3 metres long, these are fitted around the tree and then looped through themselves, after this you can attach the strap to the hammock at the desired distance with the carabiner provided. This way you can easily hang the hammock and adjust it to the distance between the trees, which is never the same in the forest! Thick straps like treehuggers hang more securely and do not damage the tree, unlike thinner whoopie slings, for example.
