This axe is excellent for use in bushcraft and other outdoor activities. The axe head is sandblasted and brightly lacquered, so it provides excellent protection against rust! Fitted with a curved hickory wooden handle treated with linseed oil. Comes complete with cutting edge sheath. Hand-forged and made from Swedish axe steel using traditional methods. The steel is beaten several times, increasing steel density and durability. The axe head has a distinct tempered zone so grinding does not compromise the strength of the cutting edge.
