MSR TrailShot Microfilter

Very light and compact water filter which lends itself well to any wilderness trip, thanks to its extremely small pack size it can easily be stowed away in any side pocket.

The filter works by pumping power, you hang the hose in the water and start pumping. You squeeze the water through the hollow fibre filter after which it comes out the top. You can drink this water directly, or you can put it in a water bottle or inject it directly through your drinking hose into your hydration pack!

This filter has a transmission of 0.2 microns, it filters plant debris, soil particles, algae, protozoa and bacteria! This is sufficient in natural environments where influences from industry and agriculture are minimal.

You can restore the filter on the go without tools, so the flow rate always remains high!

Ideal for lightweight hikes where weight is a major factor, also handy to have in the car on holiday.
