General information

Cooking outdoors is easy with a Trangia outdoor stove. The unique construction of the stove allows you to cook a delicious meal in all weather conditions, including strong winds and extreme cold. It's easy, tried-and-tested design - with no unnecessary details that could break or be affected by the cold - make it incredibly reliable. That it is easy to assemble and takes up minimal space in your backpack has also contributed to its enduring popularity among outdoor enthusiasts over many decades.

The two-piece windshield is key to the efficiency of Trangia stoves! The lower windshield also serves as a stand for the burner and holder for the pans, also ensuring proper oxygen supply. The upper windshield ensures proper heat absorption for maximum fuel efficiency. This double windshield construction allows fast and efficient cooking, even in strong winds!

The unique construction allows both windshields, burner, pans and accessories to nest together into a compact and convenient package, this way all parts stay in place and you can easily store it in your backpack.

Trangia 25 Series:

This line is the larger version, suitable for 3-4 people. All variants in the 25 series include two 1.75- and 1.5-litre pans, frying pan, top and bottom windshield, spirit burner, pan handle and storage strap. The 0.9L nesting tea kettle is optional.

Trangia 27 Series:

This line is the smaller version, suitable for 1-2 people. All 27 series variants include two 1-litre pans, frying pan, top and bottom windshield, spirit burner, pan handle and storage strap. The tea kettle is optional, variants with tea kettle cannot be chosen i.c.w. gas burner, it does not fit in the nesting set.

Different material choices:

Ultralight (UL):

Ultralight aluminium is a lightweight material with very good heat-conducting properties. The 5005 alloy is 50% stronger than regular 1050 alloy, which allows them to make it even thinner and lighter without losing strength or functionality. This choice of material is ideal for those who want their gear to be as light as possible.

Hard Anodized (HA):

Hard Anodized aluminium has a hard surface coating which makes the material stronger and more scratch-resistant, making it more resistant to the elements. The coating makes cleaning a little easier as it repels dirt. The weight is the same as the ultralight, as the surface coating is absorbed by the material. The coating gives the material a matt finish.

Non-Stick (NS):

This non-stick coating is available on both the frying and cooking pans. The ultralight aluminium is treated with a non-stick coating that prevents food products from sticking to the pan during cooking, even when using little or no oil. This also makes it very easy to clean. The coating is not scratch-resistant and therefore requires some extra care, so you can only use wooden and plastic utensils in it. The coating is a PTFE which is free of PFOA.

Duossal 2.0 (DS):

Unique material consisting of laminated stainless steel with aluminium. The aluminium layers on the outside ensure good heat conduction, while the stainless steel inner layer makes the construction extra sturdy and durable. This robust version lends itself best to real outdoor cooking and can take a beating!

Different Burners:

Spirit burner (standard):

The original and most frequently used burner for all Trangia stoves; easy and simple to use, reliable in all weather conditions. Almost completely silent. Flame is easily reduced thanks to sliding plate on top. In very cold conditions, you can use the separately available preheater, which speeds up the cooking time and makes the process a little more efficient. Average boiling time 10 minutes per litre of water.

Gas burner:

The gas burner is very easy to light and regulate. The cooking time is short and efficient, also the burner leaves minimal residue on the pans. Particularly useful in the warmer months, as most general gas does not work well at temperatures below zero, it is also slightly heavier than the spirit burner. The gas burner is compatible with all EN417 gas tanks, which includes most camping gas tanks worldwide. Average boiling time 3.5 minutes per litre of water.

Multi-Fuel Burner:

Very practical and multi-purpose burner, in this burner you can use different types of fuels, from gas to petrol. Ideal for travellers who are not sure what type of fuels they will encounter on the road. Thanks to its versatility, it is also very suitable for winter use.
