The non-locking half-length front zip allows quick exit when you need to move quickly and every second is crucial. With a small volume and exceptionally lightweight features, it can be folded or stowed as a tough item in your racer backpack, with or without a sleeping bag.

The bivvi-bag, a term shortened from bivak, a French word meaning 'temporary encampment', can be used as the bare minimum for lightweight camping, or used year-round. The SF Bivvi bag also performs in emergencies to protect against weather elements if you are passed over in less than ideal conditions.

The Snugpak SF Bivvi-bag's technical fabric, Paratex Dry, is breathable, allowing trapped moisture to escape from the microclimate, keeping you warm, dry and comfortable. Paratex Dry wicks moisture out of the sleeping system at an impressive 7.5 litres of moisture per m² per 24 hours. A 5000 mm hydrostatic head ensures water- and windproof durability, creating an enclosed microclimate that increases humidity and maintains body temperature by protecting heat loss through evaporation and convection.

Snugpak Bivvi bags come complete in standard and extra-large sizes, which can be used with 4-season or expedition (Polar) based sleeping bags and the Snugpak AR sleeping system.

Note: Snugpak Bivvi-bags have a tough coating and although they are designed to be breathable, not enough air can pass through the fabric to breathe. Do not close a Bivvi Bag system completely to avoid suffocation.
