Shipping

As you can see, your order will be shipped quickly and affordably. We ship our packages with PostNL, the most reliable carrier in the Netherlands. Products that fit in a letterbox package are sent within the Netherlands via DHL.

When placing your order, you can choose whether you want your package delivered to your home (evening or daytime), to a PostNL pickup point, or you can pick it up at our pickup point in Oud Gastel. Shipping costs are automatically calculated based on the value of your order. Your shopping cart will show how much more you need to spend to qualify for free shipping.

For home delivery within the Netherlands, you can choose to have the package delivered to your home or a PostNL service point. You can select the service point location that is most convenient for you.

The advantage of this option is that you don’t have to be home when your package is delivered; you can pick it up at a convenient time from a nearby location, such as an Albert Heijn store, allowing you to combine your package pickup with your daily shopping. If your order fits through the letterbox, delivery will be adjusted to your billing address even if you chose a pickup point.

Note: If we see that your order can be sent as a DHL letter package, we will deliver it to your home. You don’t need to be home for delivery in this case.

Late Delivery and Evening Delivery

You can now choose the delivery day for your order within the Netherlands, even in the evening for a small additional fee. When you complete your order, you’ll see the costs for each shipping option.

Not Home for Delivery?

If you’re not home when the package arrives, the delivery person will attempt to deliver it to a neighbor. If that’s not possible, the package will be taken to a nearby PostNL Service Point. Using the track & trace link provided, you can always see where your package is and when it will be delivered.

No Card in the Mailbox?
Delivery personnel sometimes leave a card if you’re not home, but this is happening less frequently due to the high workload. It’s best to rely on the Track & Trace link for the most accurate information about your package’s location.

Notes for the Delivery Person
We cannot process special delivery requests like "leave the package in the garden" or "do not deliver to neighbors." If you won’t be home for delivery, choose a nearby service point to pick up your package.

PostNL Service Point
If you chose to have your package delivered to a PostNL service point, use the track & trace link to see when it’s ready for pickup. Packages stay at the pickup point for 7 days before being returned to us.

PostNL My Package App
We recommend downloading the PostNL My Package app from the Google Play Store or iTunes Store. This app provides the latest status of your shipment and allows you to adjust the delivery address or time.

Belgium
For packages sent to Belgium, if the recipient is not home after two delivery attempts, the package will be returned to us. Sometimes it may be delivered to a nearby pickup point, but this is not guaranteed.

Note: Packages to Belgium can only be delivered if the name on the package matches the resident’s name, and the recipient must sign for delivery.

Shipping Across Europe

Want to ship your package to an address outside the Netherlands? No problem! Order via our website and provide the desired shipping address. For addresses outside the Netherlands or Belgium, DHL, GLS, or DPD will be displayed as shipping options with the correct rates.

We offer competitive rates for shipping within Europe, even free for certain amounts! The shipping rates will be displayed when you complete your order.

Minimum Order Value

Bushcraft.shop processes orders from €15. Orders below this amount are not possible due to high relative costs.

After Completing Your Order

Once your order is completed and paid for (or chosen for post-payment), it will be processed. We’ll keep you updated on your order’s progress and provide a track & trace number for you to follow your package.

Picking Up Your Order

Want to save on shipping costs by picking up your order? No problem. Choose the pickup option in Oud Gastel when placing your order. Once processed, you’ll receive a notification when your order is ready for pickup, usually the next day.

Note: Payment cannot be made at the pickup point. Orders must be paid for in advance via the webshop.

Choice of Letterbox Package, Letter, or Parcel

We automatically choose the best shipping method for your order. If the package fits through the letterbox, we’ll send it as a traceable letterbox package or a regular letter. No need to be home for delivery; the postman will leave it in your mailbox. If you chose delivery to a PostNL pickup point, we’ll change it to your home address if we send it as a letter package or letter.

Delays

Orders placed before 23:00 on weekdays or before 16:00 on Saturdays will be shipped the same day via PostNL. The order will be delivered the next day (Monday if shipped on Saturday). We depend on PostNL and DPD for delivery. Internal or external issues at PostNL or DPD may cause delays.

Tip: Download the PostNL App

Want to adjust the delivery time? Install the PostNL app on your phone. After the first sort scan, the app allows you to change the delivery time until 06:00 on the delivery day. You can also choose evening delivery or pickup at a PostNL service point.

More Info: Order Before 23:00 for Same-Day Shipping

Orders placed before 23:00 on weekdays or before 11:00 on Sundays are processed and shipped the same day. Delivery is usually the next day in the Netherlands and Belgium (except Saturdays, delivered on Monday).

For shipments over 25kg, we use DPD. These shipments may take 1-2 days longer.

We offer the option to choose a delivery date in the Netherlands, including evening delivery for an additional fee.

PostNL & DPD do not deliver on official holidays, Mondays, and Sundays. We ship from Monday to Friday until 23:00 and Sundays until 11:00.

Please note that we rely on PostNL or DPD for delivery. We ensure timely delivery to them, but cannot control their delivery schedule. In 99.8% of cases, delivery is as specified.

Returns

  • Download a discounted shipping label and pay directly in our portal.
  • Read the return instructions!
  • We refund the full purchase amount (including any shipping and payment costs) as soon as possible, within 14 days of receiving the return notification. We may wait to refund until we have received the products or proof of return shipment.
  • For orders of 2 or more similar products (minimum €50 per product), you are entitled to free return shipping if you keep at least one product. Contact our customer service for this.

After Receiving Your Order

You have 60 days to view the products and decide if you want to return them. Notify us by day 60 if you wish to return, and you have another 14 days to actually return the items. If (part of) your order doesn’t meet your expectations, you can return it to us. We appreciate feedback on why you’re returning, but it’s not required.

You have the right to withdraw from the agreement within 60 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period ends 60 days after the purchase date. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us clearly (e.g., in writing, by post, fax, or email). You can use the withdrawal form [DOWNLOAD], but it’s not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, simply send your notice before the 60-day period expires.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from the agreement, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs, within 60 days of your notification. We will use the same payment method as the original transaction unless you agree otherwise, with no additional costs.

Return the product, if possible, in its complete, unused, and undamaged packaging, preferably in the original packaging. It’s allowed to return items that do not meet these requirements, are used, damaged, or incomplete. We will deduct the depreciation cost from the refund. We will notify you of any deductions.

Items Excluded from Withdrawal:

  • Products made to consumer specifications (custom-made)
  • Products that spoil within the withdrawal period
  • Easily copied products that are non-returnable once the seal is broken, like games, DVDs, and CDs
  • Products not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons, once the seal is broken.

Return shipping costs are your responsibility. You can buy a discounted return label via our portal.

Return Address

Once registered via the return portal and paid, you’ll receive a label with our return address. Simply attach the label to your return package and send it back.

You can also choose a cheaper courier at your own risk. Include the order number or a copy of the invoice with

the return so we know who sent it.

In Summary

Bushcraft.shop will refund all consumer payments, including any delivery charges, within 14 days of the return notice. Unless Bushcraft.shop offers to collect the product, we may wait to refund until the product is received or the consumer provides proof of return shipment. We will use the same payment method unless agreed otherwise. The refund is free for the consumer.
