Frequently asked questions
1.1 How can I pay online?
There are several payment options available at Bushcraft.shop. Here’s a list for you:
iDEAL
The most used and easiest way to pay online.
Credit Card
We accept Mastercard and Visa. It is not possible to pay with a Visa Debit Card, American Express, or foreign credit cards. Payments are made via an SSL-secured server.
Bank Transfer
Due to payment processing delays, your order might be shipped one business day later.
Bushcraft.shop Discount Code
You can also pay using our discount codes.
Note: We do not accept VVV gift cards.
2.1 What Are Our Return Conditions?
- 60 Days Reflection Period
- Easy Returns via Our Return Portal
- Receive a shipping label immediately and settle it in our portal
- We will refund the full purchase amount (including any shipping and payment costs) as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice. However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the products back or you have provided proof of their return.
- The item should be complete and in an undamaged and original condition, if reasonably possible.
- We may charge a depreciation fee of up to 100% if a product is returned damaged, used, or incomplete.
- Tip: Try your shoes indoors first!
- Return shipping costs are your responsibility. Through our portal, you can purchase a discounted return label offered by PostNL.
Note: Returns are at the buyer's risk. This means Bushcraft.shop is not liable for damage or loss of returned items. Always request a proof of shipment when sending your return and keep it safe!
Right of Withdrawal
After receiving your order, you have 60 days to review the products. You have until day 60 to notify us that you are withdrawing from the purchase. You then have another 14 days to actually return the products. If any part of your order does not meet your expectations, you can return it to us. We appreciate it if you let us know why you are returning the item, but this is not required.
You have the right to withdraw from the agreement within 60 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 60 days after the day you purchased the product or service. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us through an unequivocal statement (e.g., in writing by post, fax, or email) that you are withdrawing from the agreement. You can use the model withdrawal form for this purpose, but it is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from the agreement, we will refund all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), as soon as possible and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
2.2 How Can I Return Items?
Via our return portal.
You can easily return an order through our return portal. After entering your details in the portal, you will receive a return label from PostNL. Print out the return label, pack the items with the return label affixed to the box, and bring the package to the nearest drop-off point. Once the package arrives at our distribution center, we will process your return within 14 working days. We will refund the money via the same payment method used for your order.
If you are exercising the right of withdrawal, you will receive the refund as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after you have informed us of your decision to withdraw. Return shipping costs from both within and outside the country are the buyer's responsibility.
2.3 Returning from Europe (e.g., Belgium & Germany)
Would you like to have your package sent to an address outside the Netherlands? This is no problem at Bushcraft.shop! During the checkout process, you can enter the desired address. If the address is outside the Netherlands or Belgium, the DPD parcel service option will be shown among the shipping options, including the correct rate for your order. We offer very competitive rates for shipping within Europe, even free from certain amounts. When you complete your order, you will see the rate.
Belgian Customers, Take Note! Packages sent to Belgium and where the recipient is not home at the time of delivery will be returned after 2 delivery attempts. Sometimes the courier will leave the package at a pick-up point, but this is not guaranteed. Therefore, keep a close eye on the track & trace. Packages to Belgium will only be delivered if the name on the package matches the resident of the address and must be signed for upon receipt.
2.4 Status of Your Return
After you place an order on our website, our warehouse colleagues will start processing your package. You will receive a confirmation email after each order. It may happen that your product has already arrived at our warehouse according to the track & trace, but you have not yet received a confirmation from us. Because we carefully check all returned products, it may take some time before we process your return. You can always ask about the status of your product via our chat, WhatsApp, or call function.
Product Damaged/Incomplete Delivery
Despite our efforts to deliver every order neatly, completely, and on time, something may go wrong with the order. Please report this to our customer service as soon as possible after receiving it. Indicate in the return portal that you received a wrong or damaged product. The return shipment is free of charge in this case.
2.5 Refunds
Have you returned something to Bushcraft.shop? We will refund the amount via the payment method you chose during the checkout process. We will refund the full purchase amount (including any shipping and payment costs) as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice. However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the products back or until you have provided proof of their return.
3.1 Track & Trace Code Not Working
The Track & Trace code for your package only becomes active once the package has been scanned at PostNL or one of our other courier services' distribution centers. In most cases, this happens after 22:00 in the evening, but it can also be the next morning after 08:00.
3.2 My Package Is Delayed
f an order is placed on weekdays before 23:00 or on Saturdays before 16:00 and paid for, it will be shipped the same day via PostNL. The order will be delivered the next day, except for orders placed on Saturday, which will be delivered on Monday or Tuesday. For delivery, we depend on PostNL and for heavy packages on DPD. Due to internal or external issues (such as technical malfunctions, extreme busy periods, accidents, loss, etc.), it is possible that a package will not be delivered the next working day.
Note: PostNL and DPD do not deliver on official holidays, Mondays, and Sundays. We ship packages from Monday to Friday until 23:00 and on Saturdays until 16:00.
3.3 I Haven't Received My Package
Always check the following if you haven't received your package:
- Is there a note from the postman in your mailbox? Maybe the package was delivered to a neighbor.
- Track & Trace code: Sometimes delivery times change at the last moment.
- Is the delivery address correct in the order confirmation?
If the package is not found, please contact our customer service.
3.4 Can I Pick Up My Order at Bushcraft.shop?
Orders can be picked up at our distribution center's counter in Oud Gastel. When placing your order on our website, you have the option to select "pick up in Oud Gastel". If you choose this option, your order will be processed and you will receive a notification once it is ready for pickup, usually the next day during business hours.
Note: You cannot pay at the counter in Oud Gastel. Orders must be paid for in advance through the webshop. Our distribution center serves only as a pickup point, not as a store.

3.5 Do You Have a Minimum Order Value?
Yes, we do. Bushcraft.shop processes and ships orders with a minimum value of 15 euros. Orders below this amount cannot be placed.
3.6 How Do We Ship Our Packages?
Our orders are shipped as quickly and affordably as possible. We partner with PostNL, the most reliable courier in the Netherlands! Products that can fit through the mailbox are shipped within the Netherlands using DHL. Heavy packages are shipped with DPD.
During the checkout process, you choose how you want to receive the package, whether at home, at a nearby pickup point, or at our counter in Oud Gastel. We offer free shipping on orders over 99 euros.
Once your order is complete and paid for (or you choose to pay later with Afterpay), it will be processed. We will keep you informed of the order's progress and provide you with a Track & Trace number once the package is on its way. With Track & Trace, you can track your package yourself.
Tip: Download the PostNL app from the Google Play or App Store to stay updated on the status of your shipment and to change the delivery address or time if needed.
3.7 I'm Not Home During the Day. Can the Package Be Delivered in the Evening?
You can now choose a delivery day within the Netherlands, even in the evening for a small additional fee. During checkout, you will see the extra costs for each shipping option.
3.8 What Happens If I'm Not Home When My Package Arrives?
If you are not home when the package arrives, the courier will try to deliver it to one of your neighbors. If this is not possible, the courier will take the package to a nearby PostNL service point. You can always see where your package is and when it is expected to be delivered via the Track & Trace link you receive from us.
Tip: In our checkout, you can choose a preferred delivery date! We ensure your package is shipped the day before the chosen date, increasing the likelihood of delivery on the selected date.
3.9 PostNL Service Point
If you choose to have your package delivered to a PostNL service point, it will remain there for 7 days. Through the Track & Trace link, you can always see when your package is ready for pickup and where it is located.
