This steel-toed safety shoe meets all safety standards. It has a soft and grip fixed sole, black oil-peel leather and a fantastic anatomical foot support. These boots are so comfortable and easy to put on and take off and, in our opinion, are better than other more expensive Australian branded boots. "Once a Redback wearer always a Redback wearer and I am a convert". Redbacks are still the only boot made entirely in Sydney, so you can trust their quality. Please note that the half sizes are an extra width drop and do not give you extra length!
The boots are all designed with the following features.

• Full leather 3-piece upper.
• Hard-wearing translucent sole resistant to fuels, lubricants and high temperatures.
• Lighter air cushion midsole with millions of tiny bubbles for excellent shock absorption.

• Anatomical support through excellent cradle of the foot, to reduce foot and leg strain.
• Sturdier and more supple full-grain leather (+2.5mm) is 30% thicker than normal work boots.

What makes a Redback Boot so unique? There are quite a few techniques incorporated in these shoes.

30% thicker leather than normal shoes
Redback uses only the best full grain leather which is oil-tanned. This makes them much less susceptible to tears or leather breaks and they stay in the right shape longer

Smart foot design
The Redback boots are designed to ensure proper foot roll-off and heel stability. These shoes are recommended by many podiatrists!

Pull-on loops
No laces, but loops! You get into these shoes very easily by pulling them on with the loop. Very practical! Who does not know that you quickly want to put your shoes on in the wilderness and have to fumble to fasten your laces in the dark? That is a thing of the past with this shoe!

Unique heel reinforcement
Each shoe has an extra sturdy heel which provides more stability. There are also no sharp edges. So very comfortable!

Support
The Redback Boots have a two-component urethane midsole with air cushioning. This provides more stability as well as fantastic cushioning.
The anatomical sole in the shoe provides a 'bed' for your feet, which this keeps stable. This prevents pain and fatigue in your feet and back.

Insulated footbed
Wonderfully comfortable and warm when needed.

Sole
An incredibly strong sole that resists tearing or breaking. Also, the sole remains flexible in cold conditions. Features a tread with extra grip on any surface, and resists slipping on slippery surfaces. Finally, the sole is oil and acid resistant.

After intensive testing, we found that these shoes are so comfortable that we prefer to walk on them all day! Perfect for all daily walks on any terrain. We have walked with them through forest, mountains, city, sand, mud, forest floor and gravel: everywhere these Redback Boots run great. The cushioning is excellent and they are wonderfully lightweight. Highly recommended for everyone!
