Precision Knife:

The Hultafors precision knife is designed for work where more precision is needed, making it very suitable for fine Bushcraft carving. The blade is made of 2 mm Japanese knife steel (carbon) hardened to 58 - 60 HRC.

Scandi ground:

The blade is scandi ground (one corner that continues directly to the sharpest point) for superior sharpness. A major advantage of this sharpening method is that it is easy to resharpen.

Large handle:

The long handle is made of durable PP plastic and features a santrogen grip. This plastic has a rubbery feel and provides good grip and greater safety while working.

Plastic sheath:

The Hultafors Precision Knife comes with a sturdy plastic sheath. The knife clips into this and thus cannot fall out. The sheath can be worn on a belt or on the button of trousers.

Use and maintenance:

Carbon steel is easier to sharpen than stainless or stainless steel. However, carbon steel does require a little more maintenance! The knife should be cleaned after use, possibly with water. If the knife is not used for a longer period of time, we recommend storing it oiled with Ballistol maintenance oil in the sheath provided and storing it in a dry place.
