Gransfors Bruk Outdoor Axe #425

Gransfors Bruk axes are beautiful quality tools! Made in Sweden by blacksmiths with years of experience. Click on the Gransfors logo for more information about this brand.

The Gransfors Bruk Outdoor axe was designed in collaboration with Lars Fält. This well-known survival expert is author of 10 well-known books and has trained the Swedish army for years.
Although the axe is lightweight, its longer handle and specially shaped axe head make it capable of any task in the field. Great for felling trees, removing branches, splitting wood and chopping firewood. The special protective collar under the head means it can also be used for lighter work (making feathersticks, for example) and can be used as a large knife.

Rick's choice

A lovely little axe that sometimes you would almost forget you have it with you; that's how light it is! Ideal for small wood splitting and woodworking. The metal overstrike guard gives the handle a bit of extra protection. Very handy when lending it to your less experienced comrades.
