Merino Base Layer Crewneck LITE:

Fine Base Layer Crewneck made from Woolpower Lite this fabric consists of 80% merino wool. This fabric is hard-wearing and made of fine merino wool, polyamide and especially air. The air in the fabric is very important as it insulates your body heat. Equipped with a small zip for extra ventilation.

Wool is nature's functional fabric and so far no synthetic fibres have been able to mimic all the unique properties of wool. The fabric does not smell bad when you sweat, for example. Moreover, it keeps you dry because wool can absorb up to 30 per cent of its own weight in moisture without feeling damp. But if you get really wet, this base layer will still keep you warm. It's because of a chemical process in the wool called absorption heat. This Crewneck can be washed at 60 degrees.

Woolpower focuses on making functional clothing. The clothing is ideal for bushcrafting in slightly colder conditions. The clothing can lose its shape a little but as it is mostly underwear that you wear under other clothing, the shape does not matter that much.

This model is unisex and is therefore suitable for both men and women, as a woman you can just take one size smaller than you would normally wear.

Care:

• Iron: on medium temperature
• Tumble dry: do not tumble dry
• Dry cleaning: any solvent except trichloroethylene

Tip: To maintain your merino wool clothing, use Wool Wash or Merino Wash.
