Cast iron Casserole / Bread pan:

A casserole or bread pan is a pan that should not be missing in any kitchen. Not even in the outdoor kitchen, which is why Petromax now has a beautiful cast iron model.

This oven pan is ideal for baking bread, but also great for baking cakes, casseroles, and of course casseroles! How about a delicious freshly baked bread in the morning, a hot cake in the afternoon, and a delicious meatloaf in the evening!

As the pan is made of cast iron, the heat is evenly distributed and well retained. You can use it in the oven, but also in a campfire! Cast iron is also ideal because it does not stick. The pan is suitable for all heat sources.

Supplied complete with lid, which can be removed with the Petromax Lid Lifter.

Maintenance:
Clean with water after use. Do not use detergents. In case of strongly burned-on residues, use some salt and scrub the pan clean with a scrubber (Petromax Chain Mail cleaner).
A very thin layer of burned-on fat will form in a cast-iron pan, which is normal and ensures that the pan never sticks. The grease settles in the pores of the iron.
After cleaning, dry the pan well and, if necessary, rub it with some oil (olive oil, for example).
If you did wash the pan with washing-up liquid, or cleaned it with salt, heat it up and make sure all the moisture evaporates from it. While the pan is hot, rub it with olive oil.
Cast-iron pans are not dishwasher safe.
