Jääkäri backpack 30 L:

The smaller version in the Jääkäri backpack family. This solid backpack is an improved model of Savotta light patrol backpack. A backpack originally used by the Finnish border patrol.

The slim shape of the backpack makes it ideal for a bushcraft adventure on difficult terrain. The hip belt distributes the load over the iliac crest and the plastic plate in the back panel keeps the backpack in shape.

Despite its slim design, the backpack is still roomy enough to carry all the equipment for a long trek.

The backpack is very strong, this is partly due to the aluminium frame and supportive carrying system. The frame is attached to the supporting carrying system with MOLLE loops. Durable and high-quality materials have also been used. The backpack has been tested extensively in the field and cannot be broken (see video, which demonstrates how strong the Jääkäri XL backpack is). That's why it comes with a 5-year warranty on material and manufacturing defects.

The backpack is closed with a roll-top, which is easy to close, even with gloves on. The way it closes also makes the backpack very water-proof. The roll-top adjusts perfectly to the pack volume. There are also compression straps to tighten the bag compactly when it is not full. The roll-top allows the backpack to hold between 30 and 50 litres and always remains sturdy.

The main compartment is covered with a flap that closes the top, the flap is secured with adjustable straps. This makes it possible to "overpack" the backpack if necessary. The straps are very long, this provides extra space for a sleeping bag or winter jacket, for example. The flap also has a spacious compartment with a sturdy zip for any valuables.
