• Ventile cotton is a very tightly woven fabric and does not need to be impregnated for its waterproof properties
• The ventile fibres swell naturally when wet, sealing the fabric in place
• The jacket is impregnated from the factory to make the water bead off nicely (water repellent)
• There is another waterproof liner under the Ventile cotton layer

My second skin in the woods! I always have this jacket with me, it's indestructible. Whether I'm trudging right through the stimulus woods or dragging whole logs, it just really doesn't matter.

Sizing:

Look for the right size on the size charts pagehere. Note! Each brand has its own size chart! Not sure which size to order? Order two or more sizes and take advantage of free returns if you keep one size. Please contact customer service for this.

Maintenance:

You maintain a Ventile jacket by preferably not washing it. Brushing with a soft brush or rinsing with cold water without detergent is best.
If the jacket is very dirty, you can hand wash it with, for example, Nikwax Techwash. NEVER use standard detergents and certainly not fabric softener.
Re-impregnate with a cotton impregnator, such as Nikwax Cotton Proof.
Do not tumble dry, hang the jacket outside to dry out of the sun.
