Description:

Anyone who enjoys sleeping in hammocks outdoors is familiar with the wind chill that can permeate from below. This comes from crushing clothes and sleeping bags against the hammock, which can make for an icy cold night! The Snugpak Under Blanket is an innovation. It fits closely to the outside of your hammock and cleverly insulates you from the cold wind, giving you a warm, comfortable and cosy night's sleep.

Because of the versatility of hammock insulation systems, the wide range of applications and variations in a camp setup, it is difficult to establish a general comfort temperature for these items. As a general reference, the insulation used is Travelsoft with the same fill weights as our two-season sleeping bags. We strongly recommend that you experiment with your own set-up and gradually build up to more extreme temperatures until you are sure of the overall thermal performance.
