The perfect hammock accessory: Microrope with stable PET rope

Consisting of 2 ropes, each 250 cm long with a diameter of approx. 5.5 mm.

Set with two special fixing ropes for hanging hammocks. The aluminium locking pin acts as a practical connection to the hammock loop. Once pushed through it, it assumes a lateral position and remains well secured.

The Amazonas Micro Rope is a strong but thin fastening cord for your hammock. When the hammock is attached with two cords it offers a tremendously strong construction that has more than enough load capacity for one person including personal belongings.

Aluminium fixing pin

The Amazonas Microrope comes with a strong aluminium pin. This is where you attach your hammock. You do this by putting the pin through the loop of your hammock and then turning it a quarter turn. When you now pull the loop of your hammock and the pin towards each other and turn the pin back a quarter of a turn, you create a very strong fixing that can take a load of up to 150 kg.

Friendly to trees?

The T-Rope is thin, soft and very strong. When attaching your hammock to a tree with the Microrope, wrap the cord around the tree twice. This will distribute the pressure better and minimise the risk of damaging the tree. However, it is better not to use this Micro-Rope for trees or at least put a piece of a burlap sack between them. The very best is to use Tree Huggers. The Micro-Rope is of course perfectly usable on wooden poles, stones and other non-living attachment points.

Adjustable

The Amazonas Microrope is easy to adjust in length. You attach the cord by means of a knot that ties itself off and thus secures it when pressure is applied. The microrope is packaged in this way, so you don't have to tie the knot yourself first. However, before you start using the microrope it is wise to study this knot carefully and learn how it works.
