Bushmen Thermo Tarp 4x3 - Camouflage

This tarp is very light, compact and sturdy, making it a great choice for all bushcraft and outdoor activities. This larger model is suitable for groups, families and basecamps and offers space for 4-5 people. Thanks to its thermo reflective coating and remarkably sturdy fastening loops, it is hugely versatile. It comes with 10 metres of guy rope and storage bag. It is MOLLE compatible, making it easy to attach to your rucksack. The tarp that goes the extra mile!

Weatherproof and reliable!

With a water column of 3500 mm, this tarp can withstand heavy rain a little better than other tarps, guaranteeing you stay dry. The ripstop pattern reinforces the fabric and prevents tearing. Half of the fastening loops around the tarp are extra reinforced, making it loadable up to 70kg.

Heat reflective coating

The heat reflective coating on the inside is responsible for the UPF 50+ factor and ensures that your body heat is reflected. This allows you to retain as much heat as possible, making it remarkably more comfortable. This works best with a tarp shelter construction or when you string it low above the ground. On hot days, you can flip the tarp over so the coating reflects the sun's heat, making it feel noticeably cooler under the tarp.

Versatile use

The sturdy attachment points and thermo-reflective coating make this tarp extremely versatile, the perfect choice when you want to make the most of your equipment. It can be used as a tarp or tarp tent against wind and rain and as a shade cloth with the reflective coating facing upwards. During emergencies, it can serve as an insulating blanket in case of hypothermia or overheating. The reflective coating also allows very efficient signalling to aircraft during emergencies or rescue operations. Thanks to its high carrying capacity, the tarp can be used as a stretcher and hammock. This extra carrying capacity is also useful when, for example, you want to move larger quantities of sand, moss or leaves to build natural shelters.
