FP25 Skillet with handle:

Petromax brand products are known for their great quality and beautiful workmanship. This skillet is a great solid and beautiful pan, an asset for every outdoor cook!

A skillet is a cast iron frying pan. Perfect for use directly on a campfire, but also suitable for all other heat sources. This versatile pan is therefore great for indoor and outdoor use.

As the pan gets a protective coating during use, it gets better and better with age. A good cast-iron pan, such as this Petromax, is therefore a pan for life.

The handle and grip make the pan easy to handle, even when standing in a hot campfire.

Like all Petromax cast-iron pans, this skillet is ready to use immediately (pre-seasoned).

Maintenance:

Clean with water after use. Do not use detergents. In case of strongly burned-on residues, use some salt and scrub the pan with a scrubber (Petromax Chain Mail cleaner).
A very thin layer of burned-on fat will form in a cast-iron pan, which is normal and ensures that the pan never sticks. The grease settles in the pores of the iron.
After cleaning, dry the pan well and, if necessary, rub it with some oil (olive oil, for example).
If you did wash the pan with washing-up liquid, or cleaned it with salt, heat it up and make sure all the moisture evaporates from it. While the pan is hot, rub it with olive oil.
Cast-iron pans are not dishwasher safe.
