Newest model of the well-known portable and collapsible wood stove for use in a tent or under a tarp. Also suitable as an outdoor cooker. Complete with chimney and ash collection flap.

Product description

Frontier Stove Plus

The stove is the Frontier Stove Plus model. The big advantage of this is that the stove is not only very suitable for heating up the space in your tipi, bell tent or other cotton tent or tarp, you can also cook on it! The flat part functions as a cooking plate. So you warm up your tent at the same time as water for coffee is on the stove. Cooking your meal is also possible, of course!

Difference from the basic Frontier Stove

  • The door is fitted with a glass pane so you can keep a closer eye on the fire and of course just look at it. Equipped with an AirWash system so the glass stays clean.
  • The stove has a 2nd air inlet and therefore much better draft and heat controllability.
  • The legs are adjustable so you can put it slightly higher or lower (2 positions!)
  • The chimney is now 10cm in diameter, providing more draft and thus better smoke removal.

Note! When using this stove for the first time, unpleasant fumes may be released, partly from the protective coatings applied to the stove. We therefore recommend lighting this stove outside the first time it is used so that the unpleasant fumes can escape properly.

For the coating to cure, it is very important that the stove is stoked very moderately the first few times; this can be gradually increased. Start with a small fire with only kindling, make sure it burns for only 15 minutes. After this, let the stove cool down completely. After this, you can start an average-sized fire of half an hour, again let it cool down completely. Finally, make a good burning fire which you let burn for an hour, after cooling down the coating has hardened and your stove is ready for more intensive use!

Compact to transport

The stove is very easy to transport. For instance, the chimney parts partly fit into the fire chamber and the legs can be folded away.

Accessories

Various accessories are available. For instance, you can easily extend the chimney (e.g. if you choose this model for your Tentipi or Robens tent), there are various lead-throughs for different types of tents available (Tipis, bell tents, etc), (see the accessories for the Traveller Stove) a spark arrester is available to protect your tent and you can opt for a handy carrying bag.

Delivery

As standard, the Frontier is delivered as pictured, complete with ash collection flap and 5 chimney parts as well as the matching spark arrester!

Use

The Frontier Plus wood stove is easy to light. You open the door, put in enough (not too much) wood and light the fire. If necessary, you can use the handy EcoFuel!
As soon as the stove generates enough heat and the chimney draws enough, you close the door and your tent heats up quickly.

So besides being very handy and compact, the Frontier Plus Stove also provides a cooking cooker, warmth and... atmosphere in your tent!
