Description:

Bag of loose sticks fat wood, roughly 50 pieces per bag. Fat wood is a piece of pine with a very high resin content. These trees rot from the outside inwards, so the resin concentrates in the core and stumps. You can use the sticks whole, or you can scrape them off and use the scrapings as initial tinder. A pile of scrapings collected with a knife or striker can be easily ignited with a firesteel. Fat wood retains its flammable properties even when the sticks get wet. This makes it a very reliable natural tinder.
