This kit combines the Grangers Down Wash with three handy drying balls, making washing so much easier!

We've all been guilty of avoiding washing our down coat or favourite down sleeping bag. It's scary, isn't it? You've invested your money in a beautiful jacket that keeps you warm and dry, and yet you might reduce it to a lumpy, misshapen mess in one wash - but taking care of your down is important. If you don't keep it clean, it won't perform as well, which is why we have GrangersDown Wash-kit to allay those fears.

This kit includes:

Down Wash, a powerful yet gentle cleaner specially designed to clean all your down and synthetic down items without damaging or impairing the insulation or hydrophobic properties. Do not use normal detergents for down items, as they can hinder performance by leaving various chemical residues and reduce the garment's ability to insulate or repel water. Fortunately, Grangers Down Wash is just that, a wash designed to thoroughly clean items without damaging the delicate material inside.

3 dryer balls, which are reusable (up to 1,000 washes) and perfect for preventing clumping and ensuring down items recover their loft. People used to use tennis balls, but these can even leak colour onto the garment and crush the down. We recommend these dryer balls because they gently restore the loft, meaning your down will perform at its maximum again.

How to use:

1. Use one 25ml cap per large item or two smaller items.
2. Use half a cap if washing by hand.
3. Pour the product directly into the detergent drawer of your washing machine.
4. Wash on a full cycle at 30°C / 86°F or according to the instructions on the washing label.
5. Once washed, spread the down evenly in the dryer, add the dryer balls and check regularly during the drying cycle.
6. Once completely dry, you're good to go!
