We all love to explore the outdoors, and that comes with a duty to preserve and protect the wild places we value so much.

In terms of design, the DD Recycled Camping Hammock is the same strong and comfortable hammock as the original, but the main body of the hammock is made from approximately 245 recycled plastic bottles. Enjoy more sustainability alongside the comfort and quality you expect from a DD Hammock, while keeping single-use plastic out of our environment.

Simple but effective

Strong and lightweight, and perfect for a variety of uses, from leisure to wild camping. It also benefits from two breathable, zip-opening layers; to keep you cool in hot weather, or allow the insertion of an inflatable mat between in cooler conditions.

Pre-assembled with 5m of strong webbing on either side, setting up takes just minutes - and thanks to its light weight and small pack size, this hammock won't weigh you down on the way to camp!

There are 2 pouch pockets on the inside - ideal for storing your valuables and small personal equipment. With 4 handy loops on the side, you can hang light gear (e.g. the DD Beer Holder!) on the side of your hammock, and when the temperature drops, you can also use these to insulate the DD Underblanket for insulation.

Note: You might notice that the DD Recycled - Camping Hammock does cost a bit more compared to the regular version. Manufacturing recycled products involves extra costs, and we just charge the extra small amount to cover this.

Using the DD Hammocks Camping

• Remove all sharp objects before entering the hammock
• Adhere to the maximum recommended weight limit of 150 kg
• Check that all suspension cord is in good condition before hanging it, and make sure any knots are secure before entering the hammock
• Do not place the hammock too low to the ground and check below it for any sharp objects that could come into contact with the material / suspension
• Children should be supervised when using hammocks
• DD hammocks are not suitable for children under 3 years old
• Ensure the area around the product is free from hazards

Maintenance:

• To maintain the strength of the material, do not fold too often in the same way , we recommend "stuffing"
• Store in a cool, dry, dark place
• Always make sure your items (including any cords) are completely dry before storing them
• Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures (above 40°C and below -15°C), and keep your gear at least 2m away from flames
• Do not machine wash. Clean carefully by hand, with lukewarm water
• Prolonged exposure to strong UV light may weaken material (UV degradation is not covered under warranty)
