Petromax Cast Iron Muffin Baking Mould:

You can use this muffin tin over the fire, on hot coals or simply in the oven. In addition, this baking tin fits in the Dutch Oven ft6 and -ft 9. If you want to bake muffins with this tin and a Dutch Oven, we recommend placing a trivet (a kind of trivet) in the Dutch Oven. This is because it is wise to leave enough space between different parts of cast iron.

Like all Petromax cast-iron pans, this muffin mould is ready to use immediately (pre-seasoned).

Maintenance:

Clean with water after use. Do not use detergents. In case of strongly incrusted residues, use some salt and scrub the pan with a scrubber (Petromax Chain Mail cleaner).
A very thin layer of burned-on fat will form in a cast-iron pan, which is normal and ensures that the pan never sticks. The grease settles in the pores of the iron.
After cleaning, dry the pan well and, if necessary, rub it with some oil (olive oil, for example).
If you did wash the pan with washing-up liquid, or cleaned it with salt, heat it up and make sure all the moisture evaporates from it. While the pan is hot, rub it with olive oil.
Cast-iron pans are not dishwasher safe.
