If you are looking for an affordable knife with full tang construction, scandi gravel, straight back for firesteel and still easy to maintain, this stainless steel version is the best choice.

The back is 3mm thick which makes splitting firewood easier. The full tang construction means you don't have to worry while batoning. The Scandi gravel is easy to maintain in the field with a dc4 stone but often stropping with a strop fit is enough to cut nice feathersticks again.

The straight back makes it ideal for use with firesteel and scraping tinder.
