Because the Beacon is a compact lamp, you can put it almost anywhere. Basically, it is a hanging lamp, but the design of the lamp also allows you to easily place the Beacon on a flat surface.

With the fixed USB cable, you can easily charge the lamp and when the battery is full, you have a burn time of up to 200 hours. If you use a brighter setting, the battery will run out faster.

Barebones has given the Beacon a good dimmer. This makes it easier to use the lamp to light up a tent or camper, but also to play a game or read a book in soft light.
