Akto - Sand

This one-person tent from Hilleberg has the ideal ratio between low weight and durability. Light enough to carry on foot, by bike or in the car, and sturdy enough to handle the rugged conditions of the wilderness. This is mainly due to the well-considered material choices of the tent poles, fabrics used and, of course, the functional design.

The small awning is big enough to hold your rucksack and hiking boots, so you have plenty of room inside for your sleeping equipment! Thanks to the upright head and foot section, it offers a relatively large amount of usable living/sleeping space. Because this tunnel model is held upright by one tent pole, it is very lightweight, while you do not sacrifice on comfort and durability.

The tent is suitable for 4-season use, mainly because the outer tent makes good contact with the ground, keeping wind out and storing heat. Thanks to good ventilation options, you can also keep the indoor climate nice and airy!

This tent is suitable for year-round use! Sturdy enough to withstand cold, wind and inclement weather and cool enough to use in summer. Also, condensation inside this tent is very minimal because of the highly efficient ventilation system!

The packed up tent is very easy to store away in your rucksack! In many cases, this is done by removing the stuffsack with the tent poles from the stuffsack of the whole tent and putting it upright in your bag, this can be done on the inside or the outside. The stuffsack with the tent canvas can be processed that horizontally in your bag. Since the poles are no longer in it in this stuffsack can be perfectly shaped to the contours of your bag. This is the most "low profile" way to incorporate a tent into your backpack.
